Well, let me tell you, folks been talkin’ ’bout this here Miami vs. VA Tech game. Big football game, you see. Everybody’s wonderin’ who’s gonna win, who’s gonna lose. It’s the talk of the town, I tell ya! Miami, they’re doin’ pretty good this year. They got some good boys playin’ for ’em.
This here Miami team, they got a good chance, I reckon. They play real hard. They’re strong and they got some fast runners. I heard they win a lot. Four games in a row they win, and by a lot. I don’t know about no “national spotlight,” but they been playin’ good, that’s for sure. So, yeah, Miami, they got a good chance to win this here game against VA Tech.
That VA Tech, now, they ain’t no slouches neither. They play hard, too. But I hear their line, you know, the big boys up front, they ain’t been doin’ so hot. Miami, they good at gettin’ to the other team’s quarterback, you see. They knock him down a lot. Four times a game, I hear! That’s a whole heap of hurtin’. So VA Tech, they gotta watch out for that.
Miami Hurricanes, that’s what they call ’em. Sounds fierce, don’t it? Like a big ol’ storm. They wear orange and green, I think. VA Tech, they got some other colors. Don’t rightly recall what they are. Maroon and orange, maybe? Don’t matter much, I suppose. It’s how they play that counts.
