You know, these young folks, they always talking ’bout these basketball games. Cavs, Jazz, what’s the difference? They all running around, throwing that ball. But I heard some folks talking ’bout this Cavs vs Jazz predictions thing, so I figured I’d tell you what I heard.
Seems like these Cavs, they playing at home. They call it Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Fancy name for a basketball court, if you ask me. And they done won three games in a row there. Good for them, I guess. This game, it’s happening on Wednesday. December 20th, that’s what they said. Starts at 7:00 PM, that’s what time it is in the evening. That’s when you should be eating supper, not watching the ball game. But these young people, they don’t listen to old me.
Now, these Jazz, they from Utah. Where’s Utah? Is that near Cleveland? I don’t know these places. These city names are all a jumble to me. Anyway, these Jazz fellas, they ain’t winning as much as the Cavs. They only got 10 wins and 17 losses. I don’t know, seems like a lot of running around for nothing if you ask me. But what do I know? I’m just a simple person who likes my peace and quiet.
They say this website, Dimers, they know ’bout these things. They be predicting all sorts of sports. Basketball, football, you name it. They even talk about the “over-under”. Sounds like a silly game, if you ask me. Like guessing how many beans in a jar. It’s all chance. But these young folks, they love their games and their numbers. This “over-under” is about how many points the teams will score, I think. It’s like guessing how much rain we’ll get. Just silly.
These Dimers folks, they say they got these… these “models”. Like those pretty girls in the magazines, but these are for numbers. And these “models”, they say they can guess who’s gonna win the game. They say they’re right about 66 to 72 times out of 100. That’s more than half, I guess. Better than flipping a coin, maybe.
- Cavs playing at home.
- Cavs won three in a row at home.
- Game is on Wednesday, December 20th, 7:00 PM.
- Jazz have 10 wins and 17 losses.
- Dimers website makes predictions.
- “Over-under” is about total points scored.
- Dimers “models” are right 66-72% of the time.
They say the Cavaliers are likely to win. They playin’ good, especially at home. Those Jazz players, well, they just ain’t been doing so hot. I heard someone say that the Cavs have a good chance to win, by a lot, maybe even more than 10 points. But who knows? It’s a game, anything can happen. Ball bounces funny, someone gets hurt, you never know. That’s why I don’t bet on these things. Too much worry. I’d rather bet on how many tomatoes my garden will grow next year. At least I got some control over that.
This whole Cavs vs Jazz predictions thing is all a bit much for me. But the young folks, they eat it up. They love their sports and their numbers. They say it makes the game more exciting. I guess so. Me, I’m happy just watching the sunset. That’s a show that never disappoints. And it don’t cost nothing.
If you like these predictions, go to that Dimers place. They got all the numbers you could ever want. Me? I’m going to go have a cup of tea and maybe knit a little. That’s my kind of excitement. This basketball, it’s just too much running around for this old soul. They are all just running and jumping. To do what? To put that ball in that hoop. Just like when we were kids, playing in the yard. But they get paid a lot of money for it. Doesn’t seem right, but that’s the world today, I guess.
So there you have it. Cavs vs Jazz. Home game for the Cavs. Wednesday night. Dimers says Cavs will win. But who knows? It is just a game. A silly game. Don’t put your life savings on it, that’s all I gotta say. These NBA predictions, they just guesses, really. Educated guesses, maybe. But still guesses. And like I said, that’s what this Dimers place does. They guess, and people listen to them. Seems silly, but that’s the world we live in now. Everyone is crazy about these games.
